This 4 week course is tailored for adults and covers the following topics through classroom lectures and hands-on labs facilitated by WeJam Certified Coaches:

- 4/8 Count & Cue Points
- Equipment Setup, Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Beat Matching/Blending, BPM, Scratching, Looping & EFX
- Controller Mastery
- Building and organizing your musical library
- Streaming Music
- Using Serato Stems
- The Business of DJing
- Marketing Best Practices w/ AI
- DJ Recital
This class meets in person on Mondays & Tuesdays from 6:30PM - 8:30PM starting on Monday, April 6, 2026 - Tuesday, April 30, 2026. The cost of this course is $499; w/ $100 due upon registering (non-refundable) w/ the remaining balance due prior to the end of the 2nd week of class (flex payments available upon request)

REQUIREMENTS
- No prior DJ experience is required
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own DJ controller and/or laptop; if you were taking golf lessons you would need your own clubs!
FAQs
What are the payment options for the course? $100 is due upon registering (non-refundable). The $399 balance is due prior to the start of the 3rd week. Acceptable payment options are: Credit Card, Cash, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal.
What is a "hybrid" model? In person sessions will take place on Mondays & Tuesdays, with in-depth lecture, group discussions and plenty of hands-on practice. On Thursdays we will have a 60 min virtual session via Zoom to recap the in-person session and also bring in other seasoned DJs in the industry to share their knowledge & experiences. A Zoom invite will be emailed to you upon registering.
What are parking options for getting to and from the event? Street parking is available.
What should I bring to the in-person session? Headphones, 4GB flash drive, Serato compatible DJ controller and laptop (Mac or PC).
What type of DJ Controller? This depends on your budget. Any DJ Controller that is compatible w/ Serato DJ is acceptable. We can help you choose the right controller.
