We are the Foothills Writers. We've been together for several years and have corporately published four anthologies, in addition to several of us having individual books self-published.We meet almost every Wednesday in Gamewell at the Gamewell History Museum. From 11:30-12:00, we engage in chit chat, eat a snack, and get set up for the next two hours. We begin at noon with a writing prompt, share, and then delve into a lesson. Members take turns facilitating.
Currently, we are working on family histories/skeletons in the closet/claims to fame/ghost stories. A writer shares his/her work and we critique it in great detail. Our hope is to begin our fifth anthology soon.
