The Board Walks are a second home for curious kind and open-minded people who love meaningful conversations. If that sounds like you join us every week to walk 5 miles (10000 steps!) by the lake.
We ask that you bring a thoughtful topic with you.
Think of your topic like the dish you'd bring to your grandma's potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish then we'll create the most epic 8 AM potluck on the planet. Be a good egg and make your grandma smile.
FAQs:
- We recommend casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
- Dogs babies in strollers parents and friends from out of town... if you believe they'd resonate with our values and love meaningful chats bring 'em all.
- We have multiple first-timers on each walk and work very hard to create a welcoming inclusive clique-free space.
- Rain or shine we’ve been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled we'll let you know.
Logistics:
- If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late we kindly suggest that you skip the event and join us another time. It's hard to find us once we start walking. One of our goals is to create a "phone free" space which means that everyone (including the host!) will be fully present; we can't help you find us if you arrive late.
- We do not share the route. The magic only happens if everyone joins on time to hear our Ground Rules.
