The idea behind these sessions is simple, to build a strong sense of community among Bangladeshi students here at Portsmouth. We want to lift each other up, share our experiences, and help everyone settle into university life smoothly from academics and accommodation to wellbeing and career goals.
Not to be dramatic, but think of how Oxford is famous for its colleges and societies, it’s that sense of camaraderie and shared purpose that helps people thrive. Hopefully, with time, Bangla Society can become that kind of space for us, a small community that inspires and supports one another. (One can dream!)
