About this Event
Welcome to this beautiful evening weaving gongs, healing voice, yogic breath, oracle cards, essential oils, fireside teas and gentle chat - a treat for the senses, body and soul. This is part of a series of weekly sessions (dip in or benefit best by participating in all) - building our energy as the spring awakens and we travel through the major chakras of the body and energy field, with a sensory journey warmly annd safely guided by Jackie and cacooned within the beautiful sounds of the gongs in the illuminating space of the Hilltop Yurt at Trevellan Magic Space. It's a gentle welcoming atmosphere :) This week we focus on exploring the Crown chakra, NHI, Spiritual Love.
The evening includes a beautiful guided relaxation, and a deeply relaxing and nurturing sound journey with Himalayan Bowls, Sacred Conch, bathing in the sounds of the Wind Gong, Moon Gong, Chiron symphonic Gong, Koshi chimes and other beautiful sacred instruments.
Arrive at 7.15pm to park and wander up through the short woodland path to the magical hilltop yurt, and settle into a cosy spot lying or seated, on one of the sofas, beds or yoga mats. You may like to bring a blanket, cushion or rug to sit/lie on/under, and possibly eye covering if preferred. The yurt is traditional natural materials, from Mongolia, and cosily heated with a wood-burning stove, and a gentle atmosphere of candles, and solar lighting. We have small groups so there is space to experience sound unique to the moment and to the small group of people present. There will be light refreshments, and time to journal, dream or draw at the end of the sounds, or simply to soak up the ambience of this magical space! The session ends by 9pm for those wishing to leave, and you're welcome to stay on with us in the ambience of the Yurt until it closes around10pm, or contact Jackie to book an overnight stay with the Yurt all to yourself after the evening event.
Jackie holds regular soundbaths and gong yoga nidra sessions, reiki, voicework, yoga, clean coaching, retreats, residencies and creative arts evennts for 1:1, couples, small groups, and public occasions. She has several decades of experience in facilitation, creative preactice and research, in sound, image and the arts, and wellbeing. Please get in touch to find out more about our events workshops and retreats.
NOTE: If you are pregnant, have any health / mental health concerns, have a pacemaker, extreme tinnitus or sensitivity to sound, metal impants or have had recent surgery, please get in touch to discuss whether or not the sound journey would be appropriate for you. Please discuss any health concerns with your GP or medical specialist prior to booking. Thankyou.
GETTING HERE:
When you book, you should receive a message on-screen, and by email, with full directions (including a google pin and what three words location) of where to find us, park, and how to find the Yurt. Please do follow these, as the post code alone takes you to a different house! We will look out for you on arrival, to show you the short walk to the Yurt.
TICKETS:
The three ticket types available on Eventbrite are all the same - space in the yurt is shared and refreshments included for all. The difference is just in cost/ the financial contribution you make.
The 'Regular' or standard ticket price is £15 (plus booking fee).
This is quite a low ticket-price for a gong bath especially with small numbers and refreshments, so if you are able to afford a little more, an 'Abundance' ticket (or 'Supporter') at £20 plus booking fee recognises this and helps to support me to offer gong baths with small numbers of guests, and to offer some low-cost and volunteer-exchange tickets to those who might need that.
The 'Supported' ticket at £10 plus booking fee is a concessionary ticket for people who really wouldn't be able to afford the Regular ticket. There are a small number of supported tickets for each event. I also offer volunteer exchange places when appropriate.
I work on the basis of trust - honoring people to choose whichever ticket price is suitable for them.
The aim of this pricing approach is to keep my gong baths as accessible as possible to people who want to come to them, without money becoming a barrier. At the same time, this is how I earn money to support myself, pay the bills and recognise decades of training and investment developing beautiful instruments and spaces! ... Donations and other helpful contributions are always very welcome, thankyou 💖
