About this Event

Join us Monday evenings at Collective Events in Tulsa for Fascial Maneuvers class.

All events are free to attend. For those asking about contributing, we will have a space where you can make an optional donation to the venue.

What are Fascial Maneuvers?

Fascial Maneuvers, developed by Human Garage in 2020, are gentle, intentional movement sequences designed specifically to work the fascia — releasing tension, reducing stress, and restoring ease of movement.

Rather than focusing on muscles or stretching alone, we use slow motion, rotation + counter-rotation, breath, and body positions to unlock fascial restrictions that hold physical discomfort, stored emotion, or movement limitations.
These self-care techniques can:
• reduce physical stress and tension quickly
• improve flexibility, circulation, and mobility
• release stored emotional and physical trauma
• help your body heal itself over time
They’re simple to learn, can be adapted for all levels, and don’t require equipment. We will have chairs available for those who prefer to do Fascial Maneuvers seated.Learn more about Human Garage, and the millions they are helping worldwide here: https://www.instagram.com/humangarage/

What is Fascia?
Fascia is a multi-dimensional connective tissue network that weaves through your entire body — wrapping muscles, bones, organs, blood vessels, and nerves — and literally holds you together.

Human Garage describes fascia not just as “tissue,” but as a living, intelligent system that stores memory, emotion, and physical patterns, and sends far more information to your brain than your muscles or nerves alone.

It’s what allows your body to move, adapt, and respond to stress, often influencing posture, pain, and overall movement quality.
What should I wear to a Fascial Maneuvers class?

For a Fascial Maneuver class, comfort is key! Wear clothes that allow you to move freely and feel relaxed — think stretch pants, leggings, yoga wear, or athletic clothing. The movements are gentle and slow, so tight outfits aren’t ideal, but if all you have is jeans or fitted clothes, you can still participate.
What should I expect at a Fascial Maneuvers class?

When you attend a fascial maneuvers class, you can expect:
A gentle, guided movement experience
• I will lead you through slow, mindful movements that target tension in the fascial network.
• Breathing is emphasized – deep, intentional breaths to help your body relax and reset.
Adaptable pace and comfort
• Movements are easy to follow and can be modified for your body’s needs.
• Come a few minutes early to get comfortable and meet others.
A range of physical & emotional responses
• People may feel loosening, warmth, fluid shifts, or even emotional releases during or after the class. That’s normal — fascia can store physical and emotional tension, and releasing it can bring sensations of relief, emotion, or increased mobility.
No pressure to be “fit”
• There’s no requirement for athletic ability — anyone can benefit because the focus isn’t on strength but on releasing tension and improving how your body feels from the inside out.

As a Certified Fascial Maneuvers Coach with Human Garage, I guide you through these group sessions in a series of Fascial Maneuvers.
