South Buffalo Sunday Rides at the South Buffalo Farmer's Market, we ride at 10:00 am and be there before 9:30 am. We ride every week, don't let the weather scare you away, and worst case we socialize at the market and hang out.Meet at the South Buffalo Wheelhouse Yellow Tent OR at the flag pole near the Farmers Market.
The rides will be open to everyone who enjoys riding bikes no matter where you are from, how old you are, or what type of bike you ride as long as you can ride 10 miles at 10 - 12 mph.
We take off from the South Buffalo Farmer's Market at 10:00 AM sharp. Please arrive early to explore the farmer's market and make sure bikes are prepped for a nice group ride in South Buffalo.
Our ride will travel through South Buffalo and return to the Farmer's Market afterward. After each ride, we are then welcome to gather, socialize, and enjoy the wonderful vendors at the South Buffalo Farmer's Market.
PARKING: If you do drive, please park your cars at least 1-2 miles away from the Farmer's Market so we respect the vendors and people who are not riding with us.
Group Ride Rules:
1) Before the ride the ride leader will be identified. you are required to stay behind the ride leader or leaders at all times unless you are part of ride support. if you are not part of ride support and in front of the ride leader you are no longer part of the ride.
2) All rides are ridden at your own risk. We will have a waiver to sign for the season at the rides.
3) The ride support crew will be in Blue WNY Bikes Shirts. You must follow the directions of the ride support crew to make sure we all have a safe enjoyable ride.
4) Communication is Key!!! Yelling "CAR UP" if an oncoming car is coming opposite direction, Yelling "CAR BACK," tells everyone a car is coming up behind us. This is important so all riders are aware and we avoid accidents.
5) Helmets are highly encouraged
6) No headphones or AirPod-like devices, all music must be at a personal level to hear communication and vehicles.

NEW YORK STATE BIKE LAWS!!
1) All riders must ride as far right of the road to allow cars to pass
2) On all Main and Secondary Roads no more than 2 riders next to each other. unless passing on the left.
3) All Bikes must be equipped with working brakes
4) From Sunset to Sunrise all bikes must be equipped with reflectors and Bike Lights
5) Use of more than one earphone is illegal.
6) ages 15 and under are required to wear a bike helmet
