Weekend Walkabouts are walking tours offered once each month, May through October. Your $5 donation will go to the Heritage Foundation to further efforts in education, preservation, and community outreach. Registration is required as space is limited. Registration will open for this tour on May 3, 2025 at noon.
TOUR TOPIC: SHINING A LIGHT ON METALLIC EXPRESSIONS
When you enter the gates of Spring Grove Cemetery and begin to tour the grounds you see landscaping and stone everywhere, whether it is the white of the marble of the various shades of granite. But if you look closely and are prepared to search you will spy bronze. On this tour we will be searching for bronze. It is not always easy to find but well worth the hunt.
