Time Control: All moves in 15 minutes plus a 10 second increment per move from move 1. a player is defaulted if they do not turn up before their flag falls.
Non English players must provide their FIDE Identification Number (FIN) at the time of entry. If you do not have a FIN, you must apply to your own federation for a FIN.
Ratings: The FIDE Rating List of November 2024 will be used to determine whether or not a player qualifies for a rating prize. For players without a current FIDE Rapidplay rating, the following ratings will be used instead: (1) ECF Rapidplay rating, (2) FIDE standard play rating, (3) ECF standard play rating, (4) other national rating.
Byes: Players can take a one half point bye between rounds 1-6 provided it is requested before the end of the previous round.
