This week, we are celebrating National Week of the Young Child at Miami Public Library!Week of the Young Child (WOYC) is an initiative by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to highlight the importance of communities coming together to support early learning.
Visit the Library any day this week from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for fun programs designed for ages 0-5.
Monday the 13th: Music Makers
30 minutes of music exploration with dancing, singing, and instruments.
Tuesday the 14th: Growing a Gardener
Little learners get to try different vegetables and plant their favorite vegetable afterward.
Wednesday the 15th: Story Time
Families can join in on listening to a story and stay after to make a craft and play with friends.
Thursday the 16th: Mini Picasso's
Children get to put on their artistic hats today and make a one-of-a-kind creation!
Friday the 17th: Spring STEAM
Stop in for a fun science experiment exploring colors!
