About this Event
Join us for a week of craft and fun activities based upon our theme of Around the World. We have taken the World cup as our inspiration to provide a week of crafts based on the Continents that are taking part in this years World Cup.
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1 World Cup opening Ceremony Flags
Info: Today all the children will be making World Cup bunting for their favourite countries. In the morning our younger children will be making USA themed windsocks whilst our older children will be decorating pebbles with their favourite flags.

Day 2 European Landmarks
Info: This morning our younger children will be making button craft Eiffel Towers whilst our older children will be creating their own Eiffel Tower paintings using dot art. In the afternoon all the children will be creating their own football kits and of course no week will be complete without the children decorating biscuits.

Day 3 Africa
Info: This morning all the children will create Lion masks using mixed media and in the afternoon the children will create African collars using paint and repeating patterns. The children will also be visited by the wonderful Education group who will be creating African masks with them.

Day 4 South American Rainforest craft
Info: This morning our younger children will create paper plate frogs whilst our older children will create a layered rainforest collage again using mixed media. In the afternoon it is time to get creative making Carnival headdresses.

Day 5 Party Day
Info: Today is the last day in our Around the World craft themed holiday club and as such we take it a little easier with Baker Ross craft and a party in the afternoon with games and prizes.
