7893 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, OHMay is here, and so is our first "distance milestone" of the season. We are tackling 5 miles of the lush, deep-woods trails at Bill Yeck Park. This hike is designed to help you push your comfort zone in the safest way possible. Surrounded by supportive sisters and the sounds of the evening forest, those 5 miles will fly by. It’s not about how fast you finish; it’s about the fact that you showed up for yourself.

Break up your work week and find your "trail sisters!" Join Hope Wanders every Wednesday evening for a hiking series designed specifically for women who want to build community, explore the beautiful Dayton area, and gain confidence in the great outdoors.
As we head toward longer daylight hours, we aren't waiting for the sun to stay up to get outside. This series is all about enjoying the mental and physical benefits of nature year-round—including the unique experience of hiking at dusk and in the dark!

When: Every Wednesday Evening (Check individual event dates for start times).
Where: A different Dayton-area trailhead each week! (Locations will be updated in the event titles).
Distance: 3+ miles.
Pace: Moderate/Social (We stay together as a group).
What to Bring
Headlamp or Flashlight: Essential for our night hiking portions!
Proper Footwear: Sturdy sneakers or hiking boots.
Water: Stay hydrated, even when it’s cool out.
Layers: Ohio weather changes fast—dress in moisture-wicking layers.
Note: This is a ladies-only event series. Whether you are a seasoned hiker or just starting to get your trail legs, you are welcome here. Let’s wander together!
