Are you curious about the world around you? Want to be more connected to nature and other curious people? Join Maine Master Naturalist volunteers Leigh Macmillen Hayes and Dawn Wood to learn and explore local woods and wetlands. Free, but registration is required here: https://forms.gle/7gz2i6neDrjF32ga9.Where: Locations will be announced each week, as the conditions will determine where we go. All locations will be in the Lake Region.
What to Bring: Boots or shoes that are comfortable for walking in the woods, warm layers, blaze orange vest (extras available to borrow), poles if you find them helpful for balance when walking off trail, water, a snack, and a sense of wonder.
Other things to know: We won't move quickly and we probably won't move far - bring warm layers! Hand warmers can be helpful. Some walking will be off-trail. Please leave pets at home.
