Join us for a Wednesday Walkthrough - a gallery tour where artists, experts, researchers and academics give short talks in their field of expertise relating to the concepts explored in our exhibitions.
In Gallery One we are currently presenting REꓘONCILIATION, the first solo exhibition in a European institution by multidisciplinary artist, musician and social researcher Julian Abraham ‘Togar’ (b.1987, Indonesia).
In this walkthrough, curator and writer Dr Lucy Lopez will invite guests to think together about the themes of hosting in Togar's exhibition, and what it might look like for institutions to hold space for the social and political ecosystems of which they are part. After highlighting particular works in connection to her research into practices of care in art institutions, Lucy will invite participants to sit together, and share refreshments and reflections on the exhibition.
