About this Event

Are you new to Social Media Marketing? Whether you need to create a strategy or want ideas to increase engagement, this workshop will provide you with an essential guide of the options available to your business.
Many businesses use social media as part of their marketing strategy. It offers an efficient and effective way to communicate with your target market, generate leads and sales and maintain a community of fans. But many companies don’t take full advantage of social media. It’s a big topic to cover.

This fast-paced workshop is designed to take delegates through the labyrinth of social media and come out with an actionable plan to use for the benefit of their business, whether they are a novice or someone with more expertise.

What’s covered:
  • Social media today – the landscape, and what you need to know
  • How social media can contribute to your business goals
  • Understanding your audience – demographics, preferred content, user habits
  • Selecting social media platforms to work with
  • Content and frequency – the different types of content possible, selecting the ones that work best for your audience and business
  • Understanding analytics – take better decisions based on real data
  • Paid social content – when it may help, what to do to learn more about it

What outcomes will be achieved?
  • Greater understanding of the social media options available to your business
  • Greater understanding of audience preference and behaviour
  • Become more efficient in the time you spend on social media
  • Learn how to engage customers and prospects on social media
  • Generate a social media action plan
  • You will also leave with a practical action plan to apply in your business straight away

Who should attend?

Whether you are a beginner or someone with more experience, this workshop will help you understand the current social media landscape and leave you with actionable steps to implement the next day.

If you are an experienced social media manager with significant expertise in social media platforms, this workshop may not be best suited to your needs.
