The NAZBA Wednesday Night Blues at Charly's has a great lineup for the month of December, featuring Elvin Killerbee this week, coming to us from Prescott. You'll hear some classic Blues tunes, both familiar and new from this talented guitarist/vocalist, all served up with a Cajun flavor! Next up are the guys that bring a lot of fun to the stage, Sammy Mac (harmonic/vocals) and Larry Cznarecki (guitar/vocals) from Flagstaff's Mother Road Band. These guys have been dishing it up for almost ten years and are still growing their fan base both regionally and internationally. You'll hear some cool originals along with their take on many familiar standards. These guys are always fun and not to be missed! Next up is perhaps Flagstaff's most famiiar entertainer, S.E. (Steve) Willis bringing a variety of instruments to the stage including harmonica, piano, and accordion, giving Steve a wide range of musical genre's he likes to explore. A bonafide road warrior for many years with Elvin Bishop, he is settling into a more local player, which is a treat for the Flagstaff community. Make sure you wear your UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER during Steve's show as there will be a prize for the best (or should I say, the worst) dressed! Plan to see ALL of these wonderful players, who dedicate their lives, sharing their musical gifts! After the first set, we invite jammers up to play with the band and ask that you please bring a small amp and/or mic for a quick setup. Charly's is more than just an entertainment venue in the historic Weatherford Hotel Flagstaff. They offer an excellent menu for the occassion and straight up great service. This is the BEST place to be on Wedensday nights as most locals call Charly's their home. We hope you will too!
