Join the Wednesday Birders and Golden Eagle Audubon for a visit to Mores Creek and Robie Creek Parks off Hwy 21. These parks provide small but scenic recreational areas at the fringe of the Boise National Forest. The pace will be slow to allow everyone to enjoy the birds and observe any interesting behavior. We'll be on the lookout for a variety of late spring birds including osprey, hawks, vultures, flycatchers, swallows, hummingbirds, wrens, and buntings. Plan to walk less than a mile along grass, the road, and sandy beaches. We will meet at Mores Creek Park, and spend about an hour there before caravanning to Robie Creek Park to finish up our morning adventure. Feel free to plan a day of it and pack a picnic lunch for when we're done! Idaho City is close by, and offers more great oppotunities for birding and hiking.
