Prerequisite for this class is
From realism to abstract and everything in between.
This course builds upon the skills acquired in our introductory class. Artists will dive deeper into learning about color and composition using acrylics as well as more advanced approaches to painting.
Each artist will be working on 1-2 pieces that they will complete during the 5-week course. This course may be repeated up to three times as there 15 lessons total for students at this skill level.
Taking all 3 sessions of Intermediate will prepare students for our Special Studies, Advanced Classes, Mentorship Program, and Professional Artists Program. Intermediate 1, 2, and 3 can be taken in any order so students can start with any of these sessions.
Supply List:
- canvases or wood panels, any size
- 9x12 disposable palette
- Acrylic paints and mediums
- Acrylic bristle brushes in various sizes
- palette knives
- any art tools or materials you have
- quality paper towels, like Blue Shop Towels or Viva
Optional Materials:
- Spray Bottle
- Color Wheel Pocket Guide
