WED AM - Special Studies on Basquiat with Shirin Nikoukari

​Join this experimental class with Shirin as she introduces you to the world of raw and outsider artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat!
Students will learn his artistic process and techniques, creating a painting in his style on a surface made of wood strips. We are going to also collage like Basquiat so bring paper, tissue, book pages, and a few of your Amazon boxes 😉
Supply List:

• medium-sized wood panel or plywood sheet (around 24")
• bring all your painting supplies!
• acrylic paints in various colors
• pens or markers
• different size brushes

• rags or Blue Shop Towels
