If you are looking to improve your front crawl technique and improve your fitness then this course will help. Do you have an open water swim event/triathlon but unsure of how to improve your technique and fitness this course will put you on the right track.
This course is designed for those that can swim efficient, head in front crawl for a distance of at least 600m plus. You must be able to swim this distance comfortably and without having to stop.
If you cannot swim this distance without stopping this session will not be suitable.
Technique covered-
Body/head position
Leg kick
Sculling/the catch
Arm recovery
Underwater phase arms
Breathing
DPS
This course will help you:
-Improve your technique, leg kick, stroke and efficiency, ensuring you are catching the water correctly
-Improve your breath control
-With swim set ideas and swimming sets to improve fitness
After the three sessions you should be swimming more efficiently, and have an understanding of swim drills and sets you can do in a pool to help your open water swimming.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Be over 18 years of age.
Be in good health.
Participants must be able to swim head in front crawl efficiently for a distance of 600m plus without having to stop.
Swim costume, swim hat (compulsory) and goggles to be worn.
