Looking for some mid-week inspiration? 🌟 The BC Civic Connect team at VIRCS is hosting an online session with Friba Rezayee, and you're invited to jump on the call!
As a Hazara judoka, the first woman to represent Afghanistan in the Olympics, and the founder of Women Leaders of Tomorrow, Friba has spent her life breaking barriers. Join us to listen to Friba’s inspiring story and learn how personal narratives can become powerful tools for advocacy and leadership.
If you’re between the ages of 15-30, you’ll have the opportunity to hear about:
✅ Friba’s journey to the Olympic stage.
✅ Making a difference in your own neighborhood.
✅ How Friba is empowering other Afghan women through sport and education.
Come connect with like-minded people!
We are so excited for this event and happy to see how many of you have expressed interest!
