Create a beautiful wall hanging using the meditative craft of weaving, combining a selection of flowers from RHS Rosemoor with natural fibres inspired by the garden. You will initially spend time in the garden, being immersed and inspired by the seasonal flowers and foliage, considering how to combine flowers and materials in your own unique design. Tutor Natasha Lynch will guide you through the weaving process using a simple handmade loom to manipulate the natural fibres and materials. By the end of the day, you will have created an evocative artistic piece to take home and display, capturing the atmosphere and experience of the garden on a summer’s day.
This workshop offers a peaceful, insightful session through which you will learn weaving skills to enable you to continue this craft at home.
