This is the second in a series of workshops from basketmaker Louise Arthur of Rough Around the Hedges. ‘Willow Flowers’ combines the techniques used creating a round basket base and the fun of a decorative flower to hang indoors or outside in the garden. There will be time to practice the techniques and refine your design.All materials, tools and guidance will be provided. Of course you will take away your handmade item.
Bring sharp secateurs if you have them and wear old trousers and sensible footwear.
This workshop is suitable for adults only.
The workshop is from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are £45 including refreshments, and you are welcome to visit the gardens free of charge after the workshop.
