About this Event
Join us for an evening of moving images and soundscapes from White Teeth 98’s archive that draw on the ideas explored in their short film Home. This event marks the end of our exhibition Home Making and will reflect on different notions of ‘home’, concluding with an intimate conversation about place and the complex and varied experiences and feelings that accompany it.
Home Making is open until 1 November at Exchange Place, S2 5TR, Thursday-Saturday, 12-5pm.

About the artists:
White Teeth 98 are an audio-visual art practice formed by community archivist & curator Ella Barrett and filmmaker & photographer Jashan Walton. Grounded in visual documentation, oral histories and community centred practices, they seek to uncover untold stories of the global majority. Experimenting with mediums of archive, their installation work conveys time textually, approaching history as physical and present, linking to ideas of ‘a living archive’. Their work has respectively been shown by Worldwide F.M (2024), DocFest (2024), Dig Where You Stand (2024) No Bounds (2024), SADACCA (2023).
