Beginners will explore basic weave structures using floor looms to create several articles including tea towels, napkins, and placemats. By the end of the course, the beginner student will have woven 3 to 5 tea towels or placemats. For returning or intermediate weavers, this course will help to refresh and improve their weaving knowledge. They will start with a small sampler then complete a ‘beyond the basics’ project based on the lessons learned while completing the sampler.
Due to the variety of possible projects to be completed on this course, adult students will supply their own materials based on course outline; materials may be purchased from the instructor if indicated.
Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership.
ART SUPPLIES: Adult students must supply their own materials based on course outline or purchased from the instructor if indicated.
ATTIRE: Please dress in clothing that reflects the nature of the activity. Your clothing may get messy from the materials and mediums utilized in your class. Also, closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
