Celebrate your own unique sheep-- individual or breed-- by weaving and constructing a pin loom woven sheep in their image. Create an entire flock of sheep samples (now known as shamples), celebrating each unique fleece and breed with their own woven look-alike. This simple weaving technique has been used for years to create woven samples, now you can create a sample sheep to match each unique fleece!
You should be able to easily construct one finished sheep in class. Take home the instructions and experience to re-create your entire flock.
Students should be able to weave on a pin look without supervision
A 4" pin loom with the traditional 3 pin grouping. Examples of these looms include vintage Weave-Its, Schacht Zoom Loom, the Hazel Rose Multi-loom and other pin looms available on Etsy.
