Learn to weave a classic basket shape called bean pot. The beanpot has a round double base made from flat reed. The sides are woven with a continuous weave technique and finished with metal eyelets to hold the metal handle or two wrought iron handles.Basket size base 7-8", height 10-11" with top opening around 8".

Skill level: No weaving experience necessary. We will be using sharp scissors, students 14+ best. We are using water, so wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting damp.
Color options: Spokes (reed running up and down) or weavers (reed running around basket) can be in blue, green, red, orange, purple or brown. Contact Carolyn with questions and with color for weavers OR spokes.
