Wearable Watercolor Art with artist in residence Aly Parrott

Get lost in a tiny magical world, and create your own wearable watercolor necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more. Makers will spend the first part of the session exploring methods for painting in miniature with watercolors; they will learn the best ways to create vibrant, eye-catching images and capture details on a small scale. They will then walk through the steps to set their tiny works of art into high quality stainless steel jewelry pieces with UV resin. They will return home with tiny heirloom pieces that will last for years to come. All resin supplies and jewelry findings will be provided by the instructor. All other supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop. A PDF copy of the supply list can be found in the workshop description.
Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
