About this Event
Wear Orange is a national movement that honors the nearly 130 people shot and killed every day in the United States. It supports survivors and communities impacted by gun violence and raises awareness about the urgent need for action.
Throughout the day, individuals, families, advocates, and local organizations will come together for a community resource fair, filled with opportunities to connect, learn, and take action. Whether you’re already involved in violence prevention work or simply want to show your support, we’d love to have you there.
Join the Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence for a community gathering in recognition of Wear Orange and Gun Violence Awareness Month on Thursday, June 11 from 10 am – 2pm at Sam Adams Park across from Boston City Hall.
We encourage attendees to wear orange in recognition of Gun Violence Awareness Month, and we’ll also have t-shirts available at the event! But most importantly, we hope you’ll join us as we honor lives impacted by gun violence and work toward safer communities across the Commonwealth.
