Join CONES Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12-4pm in support of MISS, an upcoming interdisciplinary exhibition exploring girlhood, identity and the making of modern womanhood. This exhibition is created in collaboration with the MISS FLUNY Scholarship Organization delegates (a preliminary competition to Miss New York & Miss America) and Port Crane-based artist Jess Petrylak.This girl-centered community event will feature CONES delicious ice cream, hands-on art activities, raffle baskets, local women-owned vendors and special appearances from Miss Finger Lakes & Miss Upstate New York delegates **unconfirmed but will let you know ASAP.
Plenty of games, fun and free tiaras for the girls!
A portion of all sales will support the MISS exhibition and the Miss FLUNY scholarship fund, uplifting young women’s leadership and creative expression.
Exhibition Details:
MISS opens July 31, 2026 from 6–8pm at Art in the Atrium in Syracuse, NY and will remain on view through August 31, 2026.

About the Artist:
Jess Petrylak is a multidisciplinary artist based in Port Crane, New York. Her work explores American girlhood, pop culture and feminine identity through photography, installation and text. She creates immersive environments that examine how identity is performed, inherited and remembered.
About Miss FLUNY:
The Miss Finger Lakes & Miss Upstate New York Scholarship Organization (FLUNY) is a preliminary to Miss New York and Miss America, supporting young women through scholarship, leadership development and community engagement opportunities.
