Join us on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market for the 5th annual We Remember Them event, honouring lives lost to the opioid crisis in Owen Sound. From 8 AM to 12:30 PM, participants can take a carnation and drop it into the river as a symbol of remembrance. The flowers will flow around the 8th and 9th Street Bridges, creating a powerful tribute.
Donations are welcome to support the Supportive Outreach Service (SOS) Project, aiding those affected by substance use.
Founded by Gelja Sheardown in memory of her late husband, Barrett Warwick, this event brings the community together to remember, heal, and raise awareness.
Let’s stand together in remembrance.
