One of California’s premier comedy entertainment companies returns to Modesto, CA, with another electrifying performance from some of the funniest comedians in stand-up comedy as part of We Own The Laughs: Modesto on Saturday April 5th inside The State Theatre.
The event will feature hilarious performances by Ary Azizian, Anthony K., Tino Cochino, and Jeff Dye, our evening's headliner.
Drink, Mingle, & Laugh as our evening host will be Marcos Alvarez.
Enjoy the best part of our weekend, which features laughs with your family and friends while sharing some excellent snacks and adult beverages from The State Theatre.

Marcos Alvarez
Originally from the Mojave Desert, Marcos Alvarez may have come from humble beginnings, but make no mistake; his comedic talent exceeds his small-town living. A founding member of the Central Valley comedy group Bad Neighbors, Marcos now residing in Kern County as one of the premier performers and event organizers at one of the hottest comedy clubs on the West Coast, The Well Comedy Club. Alvarez quickly became a fan favorite, showcased by show-stealing performances inside Cobbs Comedy Club, Punch Line Sacramento, Mic Drop Comedy Club, Deaf Puppy Comedy Club, and Flappers Comedy Club. Already earning high praise from stand-up comedy superstars Shapel Lacey and Kiry Shabazz. Marcos entertains the audience using reality-based material centered around his unique life as the cool uncle.

Anthony K.
Anthony K is a stand-up from Ceres, CA. Charming and acerbic, this 10-year veteran is at the top of his storytelling prowess. Spinning highly personal stories, ranging from being raised by a single mother to the pitfalls of growing up in a small CA town. His engaging manner and slick wordplay make this “old soul” a fit for any and all audiences.
Finalist at Big Sky Comedy Festival and SF International Comedy Comp. SF Sketchfest and SLO Comedy Festival, Skankfest (NY) featured performer. Anthony has been featured alongside Rich Vos, Big Jay Oakerson, Cristela Alonzo, Deon Cole, Ryan Stout, Bill Bellamy, Craig Shoemaker, Michael Blackson, Aries Spears, Frankie Quinones, and Damon Wayans Jr

Tino Cochino
Tino Cochino hosts the #1 English-speaking, Latino-hosted radio show in America. His show Tino Cochino Radio, currently airs in 70+ markets and is still growing. Tino's ability to read and connect with a crowd is unique and a significant reason for the success of his syndicated show. In 2023, Tino would become one of the country's hottest content creators and begin his lifelong dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. Like a duck takes to water, Cochino would hit the ground dashing, becoming a high-profile featured and headline comedic performer on the West Coast. Currently, Tino is touring as an opening act for stand-up comedy legend Carlos Mencia.

Jeff Dye
Jeff Dye is a nationally touring comedian, actor, and host. Jeff shot over 100 episodes of a new game show on Fox called “Who the Bleep is that?” and recently released his latest special, “The Last Cowboy in LA.” with 800 Pound Gorilla Media.
Jeff starred in NBC’s comedy adventure series “Better Late Than Never” and can be seen on episodes of “I Can See Your Voice” and “The Masked Singer” on Fox. Dye has performed multiple times on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and has had his own “Comedy Central Presents” special.
In previous years, he has starred on numerous TV projects, including “Money from Strangers“, “Girl Code“, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition“, NBC’s “I Can Do That“, “Better Late Than Never” , “That Awkward Game Show” and numerous other shows.
Jeff’s last 2 albums, “Dumb is Gooder” and “Live From Madison,” is playing on Sirius XM and are top 10 albums on the Billboard Comedy Charts.
Jeff is a recurring guest on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he has received praise for his raw unfiltered comedic viewpoint, bringing a new style of edge and honesty. Dye’s passion is bringing love and positivity through laughter WHILE maintaining truth to everyone he encounters.
