We Outside: After Dark- Spoooky Swap

Fast fashion is spoooky ... so we’re doing something about it.

This After Dark is all about creativity, connection, and circular style. We’re bringing together people, clothes, and community to make sustainability feel like culture, not a chore. Instead of tossing or hoarding what no longer serves you, you’ll swap it, share it, and see it styled again.

• Gently used and CLEAN clothing, shoes, or accessories (all sizes and styles welcome)
• Activewear or outdoor gear you’d like to donate — anything not swapped will go toward the We Outside Clothing Library.
• A reusable bag for your new-to-you finds
• An open mind and good energy

We ask that you please drop off swap items early on Friday, October 17th or 24th at the shop during open hours 5-8pm.

• Clothing Swap: Trade your pre-loved pieces for something new-to-you.
• Lazy Costumes (Optional): Come dressed in your most creative, low-effort costume. Basically, don’t buy anything new . Instead, challenge yourself to use what you already have.
• Soundscapes by DJ Spence: Vibes all night long.
• Non-Alcoholic Drink Options: Because we like to keep it chill.
• Vegan Treats & Uno Tournaments: Because community and play go hand in hand.

And who knows… there might be a few tricks and treats along the way.

Every swap helps slow down fast fashion, keeps good clothes out of landfills, and builds a circular economy right here in our city.

Participation is free, but donations and contributions are encouraged. You can:

• Buy a ticket for someone else — helping cover the cost for community members who want to participate in We Outside outdoor experiences but face financial barriers.
• Add to the We Outside Clothing Library by donating activewear or outdoor gear. Anything not swapped will go toward this effort. If it’s everyday clothing, it will be shared with other local partners ensuring everything finds a new home.

Because this isn’t just about clothes , it’s about care, creativity, and community.
