About this Event
Bond with new friends and romantic connections over your mutual love of live music during October’s special edition of the North Beach Social.
This free monthly music show at the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell will be even more social than usual on Oct. 17, when the Rhythm Foundation is partnering with We Met in Miami for an exclusive pre-show mixer designed to connect adults 21+ who are seeking love, friendship and community.
Headlining the free performance is Miami native multi-instrumentalist and singer Jason Joshua. A marquee artist on Mango Hill Records, Jason’s unique sound is one of son-montuno drenched boogaloo, funky Latin Soul, and cinematic psychedelia.
Before the concert, he’ll meet with our group in the Bandshell’s Club Box Level, sharing more about his local roots and the inspiration behind his music. Come curious! He’ll even answer our questions in an interactive conversation.
Throughout the mixer, Jason’s music will serve as inspiration for connection. Through facilitated icebreaker exercises and small-group conversations, attendees will make deeper, more meaningful connections by discussing his lyrics and relating them to our personal experiences.
As always, you’ll be wearing We Met in Miami’s signature wristbands, which show others what you’re looking for: green for love, blue for friendship and rainbow for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. (Yes, you can wear more than one!) And if you meet someone special, we’ll help you reconnect for friendship or dating after the event.
Food and beverage are available for purchase at the show.
The Bandshell is an open-air covered venue. All programs are rain or shine.
