About this Event
The We Mean Business Mixer will not be your average pop up shop. We will not only have vendors to shop, but it feature intentional programming designed to encourage connection, collaboration, and empowerment among women in business, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Networking Activity – Networking Bingo
To encourage meaningful engagement among attendees, guests will participate in an interactive Networking Bingo activity. Participants will receive a bingo card with prompts designed to spark conversation and help attendees meet new people throughout the event.
Examples may include:
- Find someone who owns a business
- Meet someone in corporate leadership
- Connect with someone launching a new venture
- Meet a student entrepreneur
Guests who complete the activity will be eligible to win prizes donated by event vendors, including products, services, and gift cards.
Shark Tank–Style Business Grant
A highlight of the evening will be the Forever Girlfriends Shark Tank Like–Style Business Pitch Competition, where women entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their business ideas for a $500 small business grant.

Participant Criteria
- Must identify as a woman entrepreneur
- Must have a business idea, startup, or existing small business
- Must be present at the event to pitch
- Must complete the event application form prior to the mixer
Application / Sign-Up
Interested participants will submit a brief application that includes:
- Business name
- Short business description
- The problem their business solves
- How the grant funds will be used
Presentation Rules
- Each participant will have 3 minutes to pitch their business
- Presentations must clearly explain the business idea and impact
- No slides required; verbal pitch only
