We Lend a Hand: The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes is a 50 minute documentary film that tells the extraordinary story of the 40,000 young women who volunteered on Canadian farms and helped win the Second World War.
After the screening there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers and a chance to acquire film autographed copies of Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: Memories of Ontario Farmerettes, Shirleyan English and Bonnie Sitterβs amazing book.
