Join us for We Hold These Truths, an hour-long evening of music and poetry commissioned by the Associates of the Boston Public Library, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Featuring the Handel & Haydn Society Youth Choir offering a choral piece by American composer Williams Billings, and works commissioned by New England Conservatory and Berklee students, and Regie Gibson, the first Poet Laureate of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The 8th installment of the Pierce Performance Series is made possible by the generosity of the Harold Whitworth Pierce Charitable Trust and hosted by the Associates of the Boston Public Library. www.associatesbpl.org
