Join Wilmington We Hike to Heal Ambassador, Mecca Joi for this FREE Women’s Group Hike!
We’ll be hiking the Blue Ball Barn to Brandywine trail at the Alapocas State Park which is a 4 mile trail within Wilmington, DE. This is an easy hike with beautiful views throughout. We welcome all fitness levels to join us; the goal is to enjoy the journey, we are never in a race!
Once we reach the Brandywine river, we’ll plan to take a break to catch our breath, enjoy the view and do a little gratitude journaling!

Parking: Daily entrance fees apply per vehicle. ($5 for DE vehicles, $10 out-of-state)

Restroom Facilities: Bathroom on site
What you will need for this hike:
- Plenty of water to drink! (we recommend at least 1-3 liters)
- If it’s cold bring a jacket and gloves
- Comfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers if possible (gym shoes are just fine)
- Comfortable moisture wicking clothing – workout clothes work just fine!
- A daypack/backpack to carry all your items but not necessary
- A towel to sit on if you’re uncomfortable sitting on the ground
- Your journal and a pen

This event is for women identified folks 18 and older only.
