We Hike Black: 8 mile hike at Sope Creek Via Cochran Shoals

If you are a first time hiker this is not the hike for you .
Come join us on our Expedition Hike series. Our Expedition hikes are 8 miles or more. This will be our first hike of the year.
At 8 miles and 613ft elevation, you will work off that fruit cake and Holiday ham.
This is a moderate-level difficulty hike. We will start at the Interstate North Trailhead on Cochran Shoals. This trail continues north to the Sope Creek area, looping back to the trailhead.

This trail has restrooms and is dog friendly(if you bring a pet, please ensure it will be able to make 8 miles)

We will meet in parking lot.


What to bring:
Layered clothing and wet weather gear(in case of rain)
Water( large amount)


Snacks
Backpack
Hiking boots
