About this Event

Come celebrate Earth Day on your bike with WE Bike NYC and Young Professionals in Transportation NYC! WE will meet at the West Side Community Garden on the Upper West Side, which has a big tulip festival in April. Then we’ll make our way down the protected bike lanes on Columbus Ave. and Broadway. April 20 is NYC DOT’s Car-Free Earth Day so there will be additional car-free open streets and activations along Broadway. WE will end at Union Square where we’ll be able to enjoy a brass band concert organized by HONK! Total ride distance is about 4 miles.

Please bring water and your helmet. (Helmets are required.)

This ride is Citi Bike friendly! If you don't have your own bike or your own Citi Bike membership we can provide a limited number of free Citi Bikes to use for the ride.

This is an all-gender ride.
