About this Event
Mapi and Nat are two visual artists that are looking to form connections through art.
The goal of this workshop is to create a collaborative piece that builds community, in a safe space where all types of artist can learn from each other and form new creative relationships.
Join them and the Marciano Collective to create a piece that talks about our shared stories, our commonalities, and how community is the force that can keep us afloat. We hope to showcase the results in a future collective show.
Marciano will be providing three ceramic canvases and multiple materials the artists would use to intervene them.
"As two artists with different backgrounds, clay was the medium that brought us together. We believe in making sculpture and other physical media approachable to every artist no matter their previous experience. All whilst creating an inviting and evolving community, that creates a support system for artist."
