About this Event
Are you interested in feeling more empowerment, experiencing deeper trauma healing, and want to create more safety in your life? Then self-defense might be for you.
Over coffee and pastries, you’ll have the chance to learn about We Are Safer Together's trauma-informed approach to safety and empowerment, see demos of the skills we teach, and have an opportunity to explore our programs.
Our instructors, Krista Hanley (she/her) and Kayla Berry (she/her), are trauma-survivors who have had their own transformational and healing journeys through learning self-defense, and they want to share it with you.
This is a relaxed and supportive space to:
· Meet the instructors and ask questions
· Get a feel for our classes before signing up
· Explore how safety, confidence, and healing can grow together
· Connect in community with the Brave Women's Community Center
No prior experience is needed, just bring yourself as you are. We believe we are safer together, and we’d love to share how our programs can support you.
Everyone is welcome.
