The 5280 Swap Meet is coming Saturday, September 27, 2025, to the Heritage Lakewood at Belmar Park. This is a Colorado Front Range landmark event and a first for the Colorado Front Range.
A PROJECT AND VISION WITH PURPOSE
La Familia and our 5280 Swap Meet team, sponsors, and community partners are proud to see this vision come to fruition and bring it to the Gente of Colorado in 2025 as we begin the first phase of a 3-year building plan. The 5280 Swap Meet celebrates the Rocky Mountain Region Chicano and Native shared culture, traditions, and blood connection and marks the beginning of a new Colorado people of color tradition. Our history and our story are rich and honorable. SOMOS!
OUR COMMUNITY PURPOSE
The 5280 Swap Meet will also bless kids and families as the event has evolved into one big community Christmas fundraising event that will assist a network of small ministries, non-profit organizations, outreach ministries, small churches, recreation centers, and members of the Chicano custom car and biker communities to bless families in their communities during the 2025 Christmas season. All event net proceeds will go back into communities to help families, single parents, and grandparents raising kids this Christmas in Brighton, CO, Commerce City, CO, Denver, CO, Pueblo, CO, and on down to Rocky Ford and the La Junta, Manzanola, and Las Animas, CO areas.
WE WANT KIDS TO SEE WHAT THE 5280 HAS TO OFFER THEM
In order to make the educational and cultural elements of the Calle Cultura Culture Festival as accessible as possible to kids and families, we are providing 400 free tickets for children who are 12 years old and younger. These will be hard copy tickets that will be distributed in communities across Colorado, but primarily in the Denver area. Free tickets will be limited to 3 tickets per family. To receive free kids tickets, send your request to [email protected] and provide the names and ages of each child you are requesting tickets for in your request. We only ask that if you request and receive tickets that you use them so that they do not go to waste. For questions, call 720-671-3151 or email us at [email protected]
