According to the 2021 Census (Statistics Canada) data, The City of Owen Sound is inhabited by culturally diverse residents. One hour is too short to showcase folk songs from over 30 cultures / heritages that have representation in the city of 22,000. Rather, it is the beginning of May's new, ongoing project of collected and presenting folk songs to celebrate cultural diversity.
