🎉 We’re kicking off DOGtober Festival the best way we know how — with a #WalkWithShelterDogs!🐾 Saturday 11/22 | 11:30am
We head out for the walk at 11:30!
Get your steps in and make a difference — come walk a shelter dog! 🚶♀️🐶
👟 Walks are first-come, first-served. We typically have 20 dogs available, and each group may walk up to two dogs. Shelter staff and volunteers will be on the trail to help out. The walk takes about an hour, but there’s no rush — hang out and get to know your new furry friend!
📍 Meet at the shelter (2811 SE 29th St) on the front lawn — please gather in the grassy area away from the front door and form a single-file line.
⏰ Arrive by 11:15am so we can pair you with your walking buddy!
💧 Bring water and wear comfy clothes and shoes.

🐕 Bonus: Adoptions start at noon, so stick around — you just might meet your new best friend! Bring a bag of dry dog or cat food for the Pet Food Bank (not necessary but totally appreciated!!)
