REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Apply at https://halifaxwcs.ca/classes/WCS Basics instruction starts here!- a progressive series of three classes, with a Review on Week 4. We'll introduce you to the basic patterns, connecting with a partner, and moving to the music. No experience or partner necessary.
To follow that up in April, we have a Basics Plus series to show you more moves, how to turn, and fine-tune the fundamentals from Basics.

$45 per series, or $80 if you take both Basics and Basics Plus.
Class is conducted by switching partners. Couples will also switch partners, and can dance as a couple in the practice following class.
Experienced Dancers - this is the class for you to try the other role - you'll learn much that will help your primary role, and have fun doing it! If you are registered in the March Improver classes, this class would be free to you!
Already know WCS but have been away for a while? Apply and add a note that you are doing it as a refresher, and we can offer a discount!
Just finished Basic Plus and want a refresher/practice on your basics, we have a discount for you too! Its always nice to have some more experienced people in the Basics class.
Details: St. Andrews Centre, 3380 Barnstead Lane, Halifax, Multi-purpose room. Class 5:15-6:30, then stay for practice time (Improver-level students also present) from 6:30-7:00pm (included in class fee).
