The Woodbury County Democratic Party’s Fundraising Committee announces a quick follow-up to the Harry Hopkins Dinner, a packed-with-fun winter social at Winnie’s in downtown Sioux City. Your $35 ticket purchase will get you Winnie’s featured mocktail and holiday treats, and will support the Woodbury Democrats in their efforts to recruit, elect and support candidates who represent our principles.We are seeking donations of holiday cookies and other baked goods and holiday candy and snacks. Here’s what to know about donating:
* Contact Jackie Stellish at [email protected] to let her know what you’re donating. Please include your name, address and phone number.
* Please package your donation on a festive plate and enclose in a Ziploc bag or package similarly.
Other details:
* Tickets are $35, but students presenting a college ID at the door will gain entry for $20, and kids may attend for free!
* Attendees are invited to wear your favorite holiday sweater and bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation to the Siouxland Soup Kitchen’s annual holiday dinner/toy giveaway.
* For a $5 donation, you can enter your Santa in the Ugly Santa contest. People’s choice will win a $50 gift card.
* We’ll have a crafting table just for kids, and they can take their creations home!
* We’ll have holiday treats for sale, a charcuterie board and holiday treats for grazing, a drawing for door prizes every 30 minutes and a silent auction.
