April Luncheon Speaker: Maeven Rogers, Director of Sustainability & Resilience
Join us for our April luncheon as we welcome Maeven Rogers, Director of Sustainability & Resilience for the City of St. Petersburg. Maeven will share insights into the city's sustainability initiatives and offer actionable ways we can contribute to a more resilient and environmentally responsible community.
With a strong background in urban resilience, climate adaptation, and resource management, Maeven has worked with the City of St. Petersburg, City of Orlando, Orange County Government, and the City of Palm Coast to develop impactful policies, projects, and programs.
In her current role, Maeven takes a multidisciplinary approach to resilience planning, focusing on climate vulnerabilities, infrastructure, renewable energy, electrification, and policy development. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, where her research centered on climate communication and collaborative decision-making. She is currently pursuing a second master’s in community economic development at Penn State University, reinforcing her belief that economic resilience is key to long-term sustainability.
