Holy Thursday is the day where Jesus instituted the Eucharist and Priesthood, at this solemn celebration we begin our Triduum Celebrations of walking prayerfully for 3 days alongside Jesus’ Passion. Join us at 7pm for this solemn Mass, followed by a Eucharistic procession to the Altar of Repose. The Altar of Repose is like going to the Garden of Gethsemane where just asked his disciples to stay and pray before being arrested and beginning his Passion. The Altar of Repose will be located in the courtyard for silent prayer and reflection until Night Prayer at midnight. Many cultures have a tradition of visiting multiple churches and praying at the Altars of Repose - visitors are welcome between 8:30pm and midnight.
