WCB Comedy is proud to launch its very first Cambridge show at the stunning Leys School – and we’re doing it in serious style.
Headlining our debut night is one of the sharpest minds and finest stand-ups in the country – Paul Sinha. Best known to millions as ‘The Sinnerman’ on ITV’s The Chase, Paul is also an award-winning comedian, broadcaster and writer with a huge following on the UK circuit and beyond. His Edinburgh Fringe shows regularly receive critical acclaim for their intelligence, honesty and laugh-out-loud delivery – blending personal storytelling with razor-sharp social commentary. Paul has performed all over the world and appeared on everything from Taskmaster, QI, Would I Lie to You?, Just A Minute and Have I Got News For You to his own hit Radio 4 shows, including Paul Sinha’s History Revision and Paul Sinha’s Perfect Pub Quiz.
Expect insight, warmth, brutal honesty and killer punchlines from a truly world-class act.
Hosting the night is the brilliant Justin Panks – a bold, fast-talking firecracker of an MC with a sharp tongue and a reputation for getting the crowd rolling from the very first minute. If you like your comedy raw, real and full of energy, you’re in for a treat.
Joining them is the legendary Bob Mills, a veteran of British comedy and broadcasting. With a career that spans stand-up, television and radio, Bob is best known for cult classic In Bed with Medinner, as well as appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You, and TalkSport radio. His style is charming, self-deprecating, and laced with brilliantly told anecdotes from a life on the front lines of showbiz.
And if that wasn’t enough, we’ll be announcing one more fantastic act shortly to round off a truly top-tier lineup.
This is a major comedy night in the making – the start of something very special for Cambridge.
